Dr. Fahlgren grew up in the Overland Park area, and here's a fun fact--her pediatrician was Dr. Belzer, one of the founders of Pediatric Professional Association! Dr. Fahlgren graduated from the University of Kansas with a Bachelor in Human Biology. After completing her undergraduate she attended Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences. She completed her residency at Children's Mercy Hospital & Clinics and spent nine years working as a pediatrician in a pediatric emergency department. Dr. Fahlgren then joined PPA in December 2022 and has enjoyed building long-term relationships with patients and their families.

Dr. Fahlgren married her high school sweetheart in 2006, and together they have two very active children. When her kids were young, the family moved to the country, where they enjoy working the land and caring for their many animals including dogs, cats, chickens, goats, and a donkey! Dr. Fahlgren loves watching sports.  She especially likes watching her children play various sports and supports the high school teams her husband coaches.  When time allows, the family enjoys active vacations like scuba diving and skiing.
